His Presence
I’m sitting here this Sunday morning thinking about one thing. And that is the hunger I have for His presence. There is nothing else like it. Prayer last night was awesome. After about an hour of intercession and doing spiritual warfare I just lay on the floor soaking in His presence. His presence is the one thing that separates us, the church, or is supposed to separate us, is His presence. That fact that God is with us.
I am not usually condemning of any minister and this is not meant to be condemning, but he was talking against the superior pleasures and how unattainable they are. I beg to differ. People ought to teach what they know and stay away from what they don’t know. God’s presence is totally attainable and we can truly pray without ceasing and walk in a daily love relationship with Him. For me, it is already too late to try to tell me anything else. Everything else pales in comparison to Him. He is my thought when I awake. He is on my mind all day. And He is my thoughts during my dreams.
King David had to have been the greatest “lover of God” that ever walked the earth and as he said:
Psa 27:13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
And as King David also said:
Psa 27:4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, And to inquire in His temple.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, that compares to sitting in God’s presence. To be a lover of God. THAT should be our total focus.
